Daniel R. Buck has over 15 years of healthcare management and development experience in a variety of settings. His broad expertise encompasses physician practice valuation and evaluation, clinical trials management, and contract negotiations with pharmaceutical companies and providers. Mr. Buck also has extensive experience in new business development and marketing for physician practices, physician practice management companies, publicly-traded commercial laboratories, and departments of academic medical centers.

Currently, Mr. Buck is responsible for managing projects in the practice areas which include strategic planning; payor and provider market analysis; operations management; new technology reimbursement analysis; techno-economic value assessments; and educational seminars and skills training.

Prior to joining Presscott Associates, Mr. Buck was Site Director for Clinical Research Consultants, LLC and Director of New Business for the Northeast Region of MED3OOO, Inc. At Clinical Research Consultants, Mr. Buck had responsibility for the overall management of an organization dedicated to the conduct of Phase I-IV clinical trials sponsored by international pharmaceutical companies. In this role, he directed the clinical staff, negotiated study budgets and clinical trial agreements, ensured all studies complied with GCP/ICH guidelines, and prepared all regulatory submissions to IRBs and pharmaceutical companies. Mr. Buck was also responsible for developing new business for the Northeast Region of MED3OOO, a national physician practice management company. His previous experience includes Director of Business Development for the department of Pathology at New York University School of Medicine, Director of M&A for DIANON Systems, Inc, a publicly traded commercial laboratory, and Senior Consultant in the healthcare management practice of Ernst & Young, LLP.

Mr. Buck received a Bachelor of Arts from Duke University, a Master of Business Administration in Healthcare Management from Boston University, and a Master of Public Health in Infectious Epidemiology and Microbiology from Yale University.
