Kenneth A. Cohen provides Presscott Associates' teams of consultants with a broad array of experiences pertaining to business development, financial planning, acquisition strategies, and physician practice management. He has worked in the healthcare industry since 1970.

Currently, Mr. Cohen is responsible for managing projects in the practice areas of: strategic planning and marketing; network development and integrated delivery systems; strategic affiliations, acquisitions and practice valuations; revenue cycle reengineering; managed care financial policy and reimbursement analysis; operations and utilization management; and physician group practice services.

Prior to joining Presscott Associates, Mr. Cohen was an independent consultant specializing in orthopedic, cardiac, and rehabilitative practice services. His clients included the Johns Hopkins Healthcare System, where he had overall management responsibility for the development of an outpatient network of orthopedic, cardiac, and radiology services. The project ranged from certificate of need and site development to practice management and provider network development.

Kenneth Cohen's prior experience includes five years as a Vice President in charge of business development and operations for Healthsouth, Select Medical Corporation, and Professional Sportscare Management (PSCM). Mr. Cohen successfully grew the PSCM network from eight to thirty-eight facilities, assisted on practice valuations for buy/sell transactions, and played a vital role in the public offering of PSCM in 1995. In 1989, he was responsible for the development and operations of 12 orthopedic centers of excellence for the Humana Hospital System. In addition to these traditional healthcare delivery systems, Mr. Cohen worked with the Loma Linda University Medical Center to develop the medical mall concept as an alternative and easy access model for outpatient healthcare services.

Mr. Cohen received his Master of Science in Physiology and Bachelor of Science from Long Island University, where he was a teaching fellow and faculty member from 1967 to 1970.
